As Finnish teachers move classes online, family routines change

Families in Finland and all over the world are facing new challenges as many parents work from home and many children start distance learning. Everyone has to find their own corner, or preferably room, to form a new routine – a new normal.

To slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Finnish government decided that schools and universities should shut their doors in mid-March 2020. But the academic year didn’t end.

Within a few days, Finnish teachers accomplished the incredible task of moving their classrooms online.
